Daily Madden: Seahawks Are Vulnerable Again

OAKLAND (KCBS) - The Raiders face an uphill battle in their game against the Seahawks in Seattle Sunday.

"It's not quite as steep as it was a year ago," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "Seattle is not the same team. Last year in Seattle, they were about as close to automatic as you can be. And they're not that way now. They're still a good team and the Raiders obviously haven't won a game, so they're not. But the foe isn't going to be as tough as it was a year ago."

Madden said the Seahawks are missing key players who helped win the Super Bowl.

"Their defense last year was really good," John said. "The secondary and Richard Sherman and that group took a little too much credit for it, because I felt the real strength of it was their front line. They had eight defensive linemen that they rotated in. They were really good and really active and they made things happen, and they were as tough to play as you could be... They lost some of those guys and it's not the same." (5:50)
