Daily Madden: Green Bay's Jolly Rodgers
(KCBS) - Among all the players in this weekend's four NFL playoff games, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will probably look like he's having the most fun.
"He smiles a lot during the game," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "He probably smiles and/or laughs more than any quarterback that I can ever remember during the game. Now Brett Favre had some of that too. Brett Favre would go up and laugh and joke and talk to the opponents between plays... It seems like Aaron Rodgers does it more with a smile... It is a game and he looks like he's having fun. And that's a good thing."
Madden said opposing players can react to Rodgers' attitude in different ways.
"It depends on what happened previously. If they got a sack, then they like it, they know they got to him... I don't think he does it when he gets a play on them. If he makes a good throw and it's a touchdown, I don't think he does those kinds of things then because it would be borderline taunting. And I don't think the things that Aaron Rodgers does are taunting."
It will be the Dallas Cowboys' turn to try to wipe the smile off Rodgers' face when they meet the Packers at Lambeau field Sunday. (6:40)
