CW Reveals Full 'Flash' Costume
(KBCW/CBS SF) - Following their reveal of the first photo of Grant Gustin as The Flash, The CW has debuted a full image of the entire costume, designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, as it will appear in the upcoming "Arrow" spin-off series.
"I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash's iconic suit," said pilot director/executive producer David Nutter ("Arrow," "Game of Thrones").
Joining Gustin for the show will be Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Iris's father, Detective West, Michelle Harrison as Barry's mother Nora Allen, Rick Gosnett as Central City Police Detective Eddie Thawne, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Danielle Panabaker as S.T.A.R. Labs bioengineer Caitlin Snow, Tom Cavanagh as S.T.A.R. Labs CEO Harrison Wells, Patrick Sabongui as Police Captain David Singh, and John Wesley Shipp, from the original "The Flash" TV series, in an unspecified role.
"The Flash" arrives from co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg who, along with Geoff Johns, will write the pilot episode which is currently in production with "Arrow" pilot director David Nutter at the helm.
