Clayton Fire in East San Jose 97% contained
A stubborn brush fire in the hills east of San Jose, in unincorporated Santa Clara County, is 97 percent contained, Cal Fire said Saturday night.
The blaze in the area of Clayton Road and Via De La Vista was holding at 68 acres, the fire agency said on social media.
The San Jose Fire Department first reported the fire around 3 p.m. Thursday. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
