Cher & James Corden Serenade Each Other With 'I Got You Bae'
By Hayden Wright
(RADIO.COM) – Last night was a big night for Cher: Her social media feud with Donald Trump made a dent in Hillary Clinton's Alfred E. Smith Dinner remarks ("We'll either have the first female president or the first president who started a Twitter war with Cher") and she appeared on The Late Late Show to sing "I Got You Babe" with a Millennial twist. She and James Corden performed "I Got You Bae," dragging the Sonny and Cher classic down to Snapchat's level with characteristic self-deprecation. You don't build a 51-year career by taking yourself too seriously.
"Well I don't know if all that's true, 'cause you swiped me and baby I swiped you," Corden crooned. The duo discuss sharing nudes, passive-aggressive Instagramming, internet porn, sexting, and all manner of romantic interludes that didn't exist in 1965.
