Car Fire On Golden Gate Bridge Causes Major Delays
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A car fire on the Golden Gate Bridge caused major delays during the Thursday afternoon commute.
The incident was first reported around 5:30 p.m. and a Sigalert was issued at 5:50 p.m.
According to the CHP flames were coming out from underneath a Toyota.
All lanes were closed while crews checked to make sure the road was safe. The Sigalert was canceled at 6:11, but traffic remained heavy in both directions.
There were no reports of injuries.
