Caltrain Delayed After Loaded Train Breaks Down In Brisbane

BRISBANE (CBS SF) - Caltrain was reporting delays Thursday morning after a southbound train broke down near Brisbane.

Train No. 226, which was carrying more than 200 passengers, became disabled at about 8:45 a.m., Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Caltrain is working to move the train to a location where the passengers can be transferred to another train, she said.

There are multiple tracks at the spot where the breakdown occurred, and other trains have been able to go around the stopped train, Dunn said.

Another southbound train, train No. 228, will be making all of the stops the disabled train was scheduled to make, and is about 10 minutes late as a result, she said.
