California Chrome To Return To Horse Racing Next Year
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The 4-year-old colt California Chrome will return to racing next year.
Trainer Art Sherman says the winner of the 2014 Kentucky Derby and Horse of the Year is recovering from a bone bruise injury which triggered speculation that his racing career might be over.
Sherman says California Chrome will likely need three months of recovery.
