Bright Blue Fat Found In Wild Pig Killed In Morgan Hill
MORGAN HILL (CBS SF) -- A wild pig had ranchers in Morgan Hill scratching their heads when it was found to have bright blue colored fat.
Pictures of the "weird pig" were posted to Imgur, showing the pigs bright blue fat just below the skin.
"So, my in-laws live on a ranch in Morgan Hill, CA and they shot a wild pig on it. They thought it a normal pig until they cut it open," the post by GlendilTEK read.
Samples of the pigs flesh were sent to UC Davis to possibly find a cause of the colored fat.
Only the fat was blue, as the meat shown in the pictures was a normal color.
