Board Game Lovers Come Out To Play On World's Biggest Monopoly Board

SUISUN CITY (CBS SF) -- If you are big on board games, there's a big board game going on in Suisun City that is guaranteed to please.

Folks at the Salvation Army Kroc Center set out to build the biggest Monopoly board ever to raise money for their kids programs.

The result is a whopping 3200 square foot board, complete with a huge pair of dice, giant houses and even larger hotels.

The big Monopoly board was unveiled at the 3rd Annual Kroc Fest this weekend. It dwarfs the previous Guinness World Record of 2422 square feet.

Board game lovers played Monopoly on it all day Saturday, along with other 'big games' including a life-size Angry Birds.

Proceeds from the Kroc Festival go to a scholarship fund to help kids go to summer camp and pay for school supplies.
