Big rig crash blocks Highway 80 connector ramp in Oakland to Highway 880
A big rig crashed on a westbound Interstate Highway 80 connector ramp in Oakland early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on the westbound I-80 transition to southbound I-880, the CHP's Oakland division said on social media around 2 a.m. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The CHP said the ramp would be fully accessible at approximately 8 a.m.
