Bay Area Rain, Thunderstorms Possible With New Monsoonal Flow Moving In
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The Bay Area could see some more wet weather late Monday and Tuesday as a monsoonal flow returns to the region.
The subtropical moisture is expected to move into the Bay Area Monday afternoon, bringing a chance of rain and possible thunderstorms Monday night.
The monsoonal will make it seem muggier than usual because of the high humidity.
Monday the high temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-80s inland, with lows in the mid-60s at the coast.
It will be partly cloudy Tuesday with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. By Wednesday the monsoonal flow would have moved through the Bay Area, leaving sunny skies.
