The sun is out and summer is in full swing. These July events and festivals in the Bay Area are some of the ones you can't miss out on. As diverse as the San Francisco Bay Area is, it may be a bit overwhelming on the amount of events there is in just one month. Thankfully, we shortened the long list down to these ten local and popular events. Enjoy hot dogs and garlic fries as you watch Verdi's La Traviata streaming live via HD video simulcast from the SF Opera House onto the big scoreboard screen. You can sit on the baseball field or relax in the stands. Gates open at 6:30 pm for registered fans and 7:00 pm for general entry. Admission is free.
