BART Union City Station Reopens Following Fire Near Tracks

UNION CITY (CBS SF) -- The Alameda County Fire Department and Union City police department worked to put out a grass fire Sunday afternoon near Dry Creek Park and the flood control area near Westgard and 11th streets.
The fire was near the BART line and BART temporarily closed the Union City station and suspended service between South Hayward and Fremont station and closed the Union City station.
Union City Station has reopened, and normal train service has been restored in the Warm Springs, Richmond and Daly City directions.
