BART Service Resumes On Richmond Line Following Power Outage At Millbrae Station
MILLBRAE (CBS SF) -- BART service has resumed following major delays impacting the Richmond BART line Tuesday morning due to a power outage in South San Francisco.
An overhead equipment failure caused 375 PG&E customers, including the Millbrae station, to lose power at 8:20 a.m., PG&E spokesman Jason King said.

The power outage impacted the station's routing system and caused BART to suspend service into and out of Millbrae.
BART customers were able to ride Caltrain with their BART tickets between Millbrae and the Caltrain station at Fourth and King streets in San Francisco during the service suspension.
Power was restored around 9:30 a.m. and BART service was expected to be back to normal by about 9:50 a.m., according to BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost. The outage was apparently caused by debris on the power lines, Trost said.
Multiple PG&E crews have been working this morning to fix the problem and had restored power to all but 17 customers, King said.
The remaining customers should have their power restored by late Tuesday morning, he said.
