Update: BART Oakland International Airport connector resumes after equipment problem
OAKLAND BART service has resumed on the Oakland Airport line Friday afternoon after an equipment problem on the tracks stopped service for hours, according to the transit agency.
BART issued an alert at about 12:45 p.m. about the service disruption on the line that connects the Coliseum station with Oakland International Airport. The equipment problem was not specified.
Regular service resumed on the line as of about 4:15 p.m. Alameda-Contra Costa Transit Line 73 was taking riders between the two ends of the line during the service disruption.
