Back-To-School Vaccine Time Has Bay Area Pediatrician's Offices Hopping
It's the first back-to-school season since one of the nation's strictest vaccination laws took effect.
One Bay Area doctor has taken a stand, requiring vaccinations for her young patients.
"We did, especially with the measles outbreak that was in Marin County, so we felt that we owed it to our families that were vaccinated to make sure that our waiting room is a safe place to be," Dr. Lisa Dana with Golden Gate Pediatrics told KCBS.
She says doctors are seeing fewer families seeking exemptions to the vaccination requirements covering California school children.
