A's Pitcher Makes Rare Putout On Line Drive To 1st
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - When Kyle Seager of the Mariners ripped a liner toward first base it looked like he'd be running for extra bases, until the bag got in the way.
Pitcher Sonny Gray was headed to cover the base and worked quickly to make a putout you just won't see very often, here's the video:
The play, and a three-run homer from Brandon Moss, helped the A's beat the Mariners Sunday 6-3.
