Armed Robber Hits US Bank Inside San Jose Safeway, Police Seek Public's Help
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- San Jose police are asking for the public's help in finding a bank robbery suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded money Friday morning at a bank located inside a grocery store.
The incident took place at 11:34 a.m. at the US Bank inside the Safeway on Hamilton Avenue 1530 Hamilton Avenue, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male with a light complexion and a flat-top hair cut. He's 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 25 to 30 years old.
At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing black sunglasses with orange frames and a pair of blue jeans.
