UPDATE: Police Resolve Standoff With Armed Man At McDonald's Restaurant In South San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man with a gun who police described as "despondent" was in a standoff with officers at a McDonald's restaurant in San Jose Friday before police reported shortly after the situation was resolved.

The incident began at around 2:30 p.m. at the McDonald's located at Tully Road and Senter Road in South San Jose, leading police to shut down Tully in both directions from Senter to S. 10th St.

Shortly after 3 p.m., San Jose police said in a tweet the scene was secure and the streets were reopening. No other information was immediately available.
