Amazon To Build 2nd Fulfillment Center In Tracy
TRACY, San Joaquin County (CBS) – Amazon is planning to open a second fulfillment center in the Central Valley community of Tracy, bringing with it many more new jobs.
The online shopping company announced its plans on Wednesday, CBS Sacramento reported. Amazon said it will also be opening a fulfillment center in Eastvale (Riverside County) along with its second Tracy location.
Both new centers will be about one million square feet in size.
"We are very proud that Amazon has found a home and continues to grow here in Tracy," said Michael Maciel, Mayor of Tracy, in a release.
