OAKLAND (CBS SF) - Everything about the first half of the NBA Western Conference Finals game 4 Monday night in Houston was scary for Warriors fans. Those in the stands tried to distract themselves from the flooding streets of Houston by watching the game. But inside the gym, the Rockets were raining first quarter jump shots at a nearly unprecedented pace. Then things got worse.

Stephen Curry's 11 point first half was almost keeping the Warriors in the game, but at the 5:52 mark of the second quarter, the league's MVP took one of the nastiest spills of his career. He stretched out nearly motionless for minutes as the training staff checked him. When he did get help off of the court, he didn't exactly look ready to run the point for the league's most prolific offense.

After being diagnosed with a "head contusion" and going through the NBA concussion protocol, the most prolific three point shooter in NBA history returned in the 3rd quarter and, despite some shaky early efforts, regained his shooting touch. Sure, the Warriors lost the game, but they should be fully healthy for Game 5 Wednesday in Oakland, meaning it isn't too soon for the internet to have a field day with Curry's cartwheel.
