Missing 55-Year-Old Autistic Man Found At Napa Bus Stop

NAPA COUNTY (CBS SF) -- An autistic man who went missing Wednesday afternoon was found safe at a bus station in Napa the same day, a Napa County sheriff's captain said.

Sheriff's Capt. Doug Pike said someone spotted 55-year-old Austin Francis Blake around noon on a VINE Transit bus in Solano County that was heading to Napa.

Sheriff's personnel met the bus at the Napa bus station on Burnell Street around 12:45 p.m. and confirmed Blake was on board, Pike said.

VINE Transit serves St. Helena, Yountville, Calistoga, Napa and American Canyon and runs an express bus to Suisun City and Fairfield.

Blake was last seen leaving the Veterans Home of California in Yountville around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was considered at-risk because of his autism and need for daily medication.
