49ers' Crabtree Skips Chance To Respond To Richard Sherman's Latest Insults

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Michael Crabtree isn't taking the bait on the latest bid by Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman to get into his head.

Earlier this week the Seahawks star said he still "play him every year for the rest of my career and choke him out," adding "I just don't like the dude...and I think he's sorry." The comments came during Sherman's appearance on a Discovery Channel reality show. Those comments were made months after his nationally televised post-game rant/victory celebration made him a household name for much of the country.

Crabtree has decided not to escalate unfriendly banter:

Prior to the Tweet he essentially issued a "no comment" response on ESPN's "NFL Live" on Thursday:

"I've been doing this for a while, you know," Crabtree said, via NFL.com. "I've been playing, I've been to the top of the totem pole since high school, you know. So, it's nothing new to me."

"I'm getting (tired) talking about these guys. I concentrate on football...I don't really have too much to prove when it comes to talking on this TV," he continued.
