3 Suspects Arrested In Fremont Gunpoint Robbery
FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Fremont police Wednesday arrested three people suspected of robbing a man at gunpoint one week ago.
The victim, a 67-year-old man, was using a Bank of America ATM on Fremont Boulevard around 1 a.m., when a carload of men drove up and parked next to where he was standing.
Police said one person got out of the car, pointed a gun at the victim and took his wallet.
According to police, the victim's credit cards were used at a nearby 7-11 store about an hour later.
During an unrelated early-morning investigation today, police said they were able to identify the suspects, and have arrested them in Union City.
Two of the suspects were identified. Prabhleen Singh, 22, of Fremont was identified by police as the man suspected of robbing the victim at gunpoint.
Another man, Manjot Dhillon, 24, of Union City is suspected of driving the getaway car.
A third person, a 17-year-old boy, is accused of using the credit card at 7-11.
Authorities are charging the suspects with multiple felonies, including robbery, elder abuse, possession of stolen property and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Fremont police.
