3 Men In White Hoodies Burglarize Palo Alto Home
PALO ALTO (KPIX 5) -- Three men broke into a Palo Alto house wearing matching white hoodies with an unusual logo.
They smashed in a glass door in the rear of the home. Surveillance footage shows the burglars crawling on their hands and knees until they are out of the camera frame.
Then, about a minute later, the men emerge.
They walked through the house shining flashlights and looking through cabinets and desks.
Oddly enough, all three of them are wearing white hoodies. Two of them are wearing logos on their backs, the letter 'B' in white surrounded by a black circle.
One neighbor, when asked whether she thought it was strange, said "It is, but I can just see them doing that on purpose so that they look like they're from a company or something."
Police said the house, located in the 1700 block of Channing Avenue, belongs to a man in his 40s who wasn't home at the time of the burglary. He arrived home the day after the burglary.
Police say the burglars ransacked the house but only ended up stealing an electronic tablet, like an iPad.
"Well, I guess they should have done a little homework," one neighbor said.
As for the 'B' logos, police say they're not quite sure what to make of that. They say they resemble the clothing brand Billionaire Boys Club, but it's not an exact match.
Because their faces are covered, there's not much of a suspect description, other than that they are believed to be men.
