Lanes Reopen On I-580 After Multi-Car Rollover Crash In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in East Oakland has reopened Thursday morning after a multi-car hit-and-run crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
As many as five vehicles were involved in the crash, which was reported just after 8 a.m. on eastbound Highway 580 near the Golf Links Road off-ramp.
One of the vehicles rolled over several times.
Three lanes of the highway were closed until about 9:30 a.m.
At least one of the involved drivers fled the accident scene, CHP officials said.
