2 Hurt In Shooting At Fresno House Party Following 49ers-Seahawks Game

FRESNO (AP) -- Police say two men were injured in a shooting at house party in Fresno after a San Francisco 49ers fan was taunted by fans of the Seattle Seahawks.

Two men, ages 63 and 45, received non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting during the Seahawks victory in the NFC championship game on Sunday.

Fresno County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Lolkus says 39-year-old Amado Vargas was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Lolkus says Vargas first threatened people with a knife, which was wrestled away from him.

Police say Vargas then ran into a room with a gun safe, took out a handgun and fired multiple shots.
