2 Drenching Storms To Bring Heavy Rain, Surf To Bay Area Sunday, Monday
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) -- The first of two storms set to soak the San Francisco Bay Area will bring a high tide that could flood some coastal areas and dump snow in the Sierra Nevada.
The National Weather Service says strong rainfall will first reach the North Bay Sunday afternoon. The region is expected to get up to 2 inches before the storm moves south.

Forecasters say heavy rain could lead to localized flooding of roadways, especially along the coast. A flash flood warning is in effect for some parts of the North Bay.
The service says rainfall will taper off overnight but a second rainstorm is expected to make landfall Monday night and Tuesday.
