106-Year-Old Violin Returned To Owner After Smash & Grab Robbery In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- A 106-year-old violin was returned to its owner Tuesday after it was stolen from a car in San Francisco.

Clinton Heise had left the violin in his car for a few hours Monday, but thieves smashed in a window, and grabbed everything they could, including the violin.

Heise said losing the violin was like losing a child, and that it had helped him recover from a motorcycle accident.
