1 Million Americans Already Done With Their Holiday Shopping
Another 34-million go-getters have already started their shopping.
"There really can be an advantage to starting early, because for one thing, you can take advantage of credit card sign-up bonuses, and get a cash-back bonus for shopping that you're already going to do," CreditCards.com Senior Analyst Matt Schultz told KCBS.
Yet, some of them are irritated with the Christmas displays already popping up at the mall – 74 percent of people surveyed by CreditCards.com to be more precise.
"Some people just don't want to have to think about the holidays before Halloween is done," Schultz said.
But, the survey shows that opinions are shifting.
"The younger you are, the less bothered you are by this," Schultz said.
That could have to do with younger shoppers going online to look for deals, and skipping the mall experience altogether.
