1 Arrested After Robbery Near Oakland's Lake Merritt
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police have at least one suspect in custody after a robbery near Oakland's Lake Merritt Thursday evening, police said.
A call came in reporting the robbery at 6:46 p.m. and at least one person was apprehended in the 2200 block of Lakeshore Avenue, Officer R. Brown said.
Brown said the incident involved a chase by police for one or more suspects.
The suspect or suspects abandoned a vehicle and police then set up a perimeter to find the person or persons.
