West Sacramento Fire Engine Will Be Moved While Station Is Refurbished
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A West Sacramento fire engine will be moving to a new station, but the move will be temporary while a station is being refurbished.
Engine 42 will be moving from its Station 42 home on Jefferson Boulevard on Feb. 9, and the station will be closed while it is refurbished.
In the meantime, the engine will remain in service, but it will be coming out of Station 45 on Lake Washington Boulevard, about a mile and a half away, or a four-minute drive.
Station 42 is expected to reopen on Feb. 27.
