West Sacramento Fire Engine Returned To Refurbished Station Three Days Ahead Of Schedule
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A West Sacramento fire engine is back in service at its home after the station's refurbishing finished three days early.
Engine 42 is back at its Station 42 home on Jefferson Boulevard for the first time since Feb. 9 when the station was closed while it was refurbished.
The engine had remained in service, but it came out of Station 45 on Lake Washington Boulevard, about a mile and a half away, or a four-minute drive.
Station 42 was expected to reopen on Feb. 27.
