[WATCH] New Film About Concussion/NFL Issue Featuring Will Smith
Concussion, a new sports drama, focuses on forensic pathologist and neuropathologist, Dr. Bennet Omalu, who discovered the relationship between football and brain injuries. It also follows the subsequent battle between the NFL and Dr. Omalu's findings.
This film is pertinent to the current issues football stars face regarding concussion protocol, specifically Chris Borland, who recently retired from the San Francisco 49ers because he did not want to suffer from any more concussions.
The film stars Will Smith, Alec Baldwin and Albert Brooks and will be released Christmas Day 2015.
