WATCH: Little Rock Send Game To OT Against Purdue On Deep Three
By Ryan Mayer
Arkansas Little Rock found themselves in a precarious position at the end of regulation against number five seed Purdue. Down by three with the shot clock turned off, the team needed a three to tie or a quick two and then foul. Well, that's when Little Rock guard Josh Hagins decided to take the game into his hands.
Hagins wasn't done there as he continued his magic in OT and in double OT as well. How good was he in OT you ask? Well, allow this stat to explain.
I believe that's called having ice water in your veins ladies and gentlemen. He finished the game with 31 points on 10-20 shooting including 3-7 from three point land. That performance was enough to pull off the upset as the Trojans held off the Boilermakers in double OT 85-83. Little Rock advances to take on Iowa State this weekend.
