Wanted Parolee Arrested After Standoff At Vacaville Home

VACAVILLE (CBS13) — A SWAT team responding to a Vacaville neighborhood arrested a wanted parolee who barricaded himself in a home, authorities said.

Robbie Lujan, 32, of Vacaville, was arrested after a brief struggle with officers of which bean bag rounds were used, according to the Vacaville Police Department. Lujan was reportedly on active parole for robbery.

The scene was along the 300 block of W. Monte Vista Avenue. Vacaville police said the incident started a little after noon.

Officers said Lujan had barricaded himself inside a home in the area.

Distraction devices were deployed and road closures were in effect in the area but have since been lifted.
