1 hospitalized after landscape truck crashes into Elk Grove dentist office
ELK GROVE – One person was sent to the hospital after a landscape truck crashed into a building in Elk Grove early Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened near Franklin Boulevard and Laguna Park Drive, at the Laguna Park Dentistry. Police tell CBS13 that everyone in the building has been evacuated.
Police said they've determined the landscape truck was traveling south on Franklin when it veered off the road and crashed into the building.
Cosumnes Fire units are at the scene along with the Elk Grove Police Department for a vehicle into a commercial structure near Laguna Park Drive and Franklin Blvd. Please refer media inquiries to @ElkGrovePD or incident commanders at the scene.

One person inside the building was hit by the vehicle and pinned between the vehicle and the structure's debris.
That person was freed by the Consumnes Fire Department and taken to the hospital. Their latest condition is unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation and traffic on Franklin Boulevard has resumed.
