Vacaville police investigate after man shot multiple times on Cinnabar Way
VACAVILLE — Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Vacaville.
The Vacaville Police Department said it happened just before 2:30 p.m. along Cinnabar Way.
The victim has been identified as Jayro Magana, a 26-year-old man from Fairfield. According to officers, the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators detained one person on Somerville Drive, about a mile away from the scene. The suspect, 20-year-old David Lamont Herschel from Vallejo, was booked into the Solano County Jail on several charges, including homicide.
