Two Fires To Blame For Smoky Skies In Sacramento
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Two small fires near Grant Line and Sloughhouse Roads look to be to blame for smoky skies in the Sacramento area Sunday night.
Michelle Eidam with Metro Fire says the two fires are near each other, near Lakehill Court. Winds helped drive the fires.
Eidam says five homes were threatened by the fires. The fires were contained by 9 p.m., crews report.
A total of 19 acres was burned between the two fires. It is unclear what exactly caused the fire.
A neighbor says a fire in the area had been intentionally set.
