Truck Shears Off Fire Hydrant In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Crews in south Sacramento are dealt with a wet mess after a truck hit a fire hydrant, sending water shooting into the air.

The incident happened on Stockton Boulevard near Suncountry Lane.

Water reportedly flooded a nearby bus stop, preventing buses from being able to stopping there.

Water appears to have been almost completely turned off at the hydrant.

There's no word on how long it will take to clear up the water and repair the hydrant.
