Truck Crashes Into Restaurant Closed Due To Coronavirus; Driver Suspected Of DUI

AUBURN (CBS13) - The coronavirus quarantine may have saved lives in Auburn Wednesday evening.

A suspected DUI driver slammed into Twin Dragon restaurant just after 7 p.m. Police say with the restaurant closed because of the pandemic.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the crash.

Officers arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI.

APD and AFD are working on an incident involving a vehicle into a building. Thankfully with everyone complying with the COVID-19 recommendations, there are no injuries.
