Truck Catches Fire On I-80 In West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A truck caught fire just off Interstate 80 in West Sacramento on Monday, leading to a traffic backup.
The truck was exiting eastbound Interstate 80 at Reed Avenue around 1 p.m. when it caught fire and pulled off the side of the road. Authorities closed off the ramp while firefighters worked to put the fire out.
The truck belongs is owned by elevator maintenance company ThyssenKrupp.
One person was driving in the truck at the time. He was not injured.
