#Trending In Entertainment: The "Fifty Shades Of Grey" Trailer, Comic Con, And Adam Levine Is Married

This week one trailer was too hot for TV, it’s Christmas for nerds, and Twitter mourns the marriage of a celebrity.

1. Too Hot For TV! The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Trailer Is Out

The time has finally come for our first glimpse of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trailer; even if you don’t want to admit how excited you are about it.

The trailer, which features a slowed down version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love,” introduces us to Dakota Johnson’s role as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan’s take as Christian Grey.  It also gets a little steamy, forcing television to air a shorter version of the trailer (no worries, the full-length trailer is available online).

2. Geek Alert! Comic-Con Is Happening

It’s like Christmas in July for fanboys and fangirls around the world.  San Diego Comic Con started this week, and with it comes a collection of cosplay and celebrity that always sends the entertainment world into a frenzy.

This year everyone is expecting to hear updates on their favorite superheroes, TV franchises (like CBS’ “Under the Dome” or The CW’s “The Flash”), and movies. With only four days to fit all things geek into one convention, Comic Con definitely has its work cut out for them.

3. Just Hitched! Adam Levine Married Behati Prinsloo And Twitter Is Heartbroken

As if the Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes pregnancy news wasn't enough, now Adam Levine has gone and gotten married.  Yes, the Maroon 5 lead singer got married to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo this past week and it broke Twitter’s heart.

The pair have been dating since 2012, so it’s hardly a surprise that they decided to tie the knot, but for some reason, that doesn't make the news any easier to hear for Twitter users.  One particular Twitter user tweeted out: “A moment of silence to mourn that today is Adam Levine’s wedding day.”  Sorry Twitter, looks like your running out of single men to obsess over.

4. Film, TV Legend James Garner Dies

The legendary James Garner passed away this week at age 86 of natural causes, leaving behind a legacy in television and film.  Garner was known for his incomparable comedic skill in shows like “Maverick” and films like “Murphy’s Romance.” His acting skills surpassed comedy, embracing dramas as well.

5. Cissy Houston On Whitney Houston Biopic: “Let Her Rest”

Lifetime can’t catch a break.  After the uproar surrounding the upcoming Aaliyah biopic, the network is in hot water with another pop icon’s family; Whitney Houston’s.  The network is currently working on a Whitney Houston biopic that is being directed by Angela Bassett and starring Yaya Dacosta as the late Houston.

Houston’s family isn’t too happy with the project, and they’ve already taken measures to ensure the made-for-TV movie has a difficult time getting made. Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston’s mother, believes that her daughter’s story deserves much more than television movie but also believes that her daughter should just be left to rest, pleading, “We are exhausted by the continuing misinformation and comments offered by people who did not know her. Please, please let her rest.”
