Top 5 Warriors Games You Must Go To

Last season was a dream for the Golden State Warriors and its fans.

Not only were they the best team in the West, but they also came out on top of the entire NBA after winning their first championship since 1975.

This season will be filled with a lot of pressure to repeat the same success.

Every team the Warriors will face in the upcoming season will come out with extra motivation to beat the defending champs.

If you are a Dubs fan, here are five games you must try to attend.

These are in order of date and not importance.

1. Opening Night- New Orleans Pelicans @ Golden State Warriors, October 27th

Every opening night is special. The pageantry of the night mixed with all of the excitement for the upcoming year creates a fun environment.

But this opening night will be different than others for the team and its fans.

The championship trophy, rings and banner should all be featured before the start of the game. It will be the final celebration of the championship season before the road to another championship begins.

It's a night which most Warriors fans will be experiencing for the first time.

2. Los Angeles Clippers @ Golden State Warriors, November 4th

Over the past few season, there have been some heated moments between these two teams.

The Clippers don't like the Warriors, and the Warriors don't like the Clippers.

If you are one who likes to watch physical play with some added pushing and shoving, this is the game to watch.

You can almost guarantee that there will be some sort of scuffle between Draymond Green and Blake Griffin. Not to mention the Clippers brought in Paul Pierce, a guy who is infamous for ticking the opposing team off.

All games between these two teams are sure to be entertaining.

3. Christmas Day- Cleveland Cavaliers @ Golden State Warriors, December 25th

The Warriors have been featured on Christmas day basketball for the past few seasons, but this match-up will be the best one yet.

It will be a rematch from last season's NBA Finals.

That's right, LeBron James will be in town on Christmas.

It's always exciting when you have an NBA Finals rematch, but throw in that it's on Christmas day, that's just the cherry on top.

Merry Christmas to all of the NBA.

4. San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors, January 25th

Although the Warriors are the defending champions, many people still have the Spurs as the favorites to win the title this season.

It's understandable. The Spurs have been the face of consistency over the past decade.

The Warriors will want to come out and show the NBA and its fans that they are the best team in basketball.

The Spurs are also the team which the Dubs are compared to the most. If they want to end that conversation, Golden State will need to show the league they are well above the comparison.

5. Boston Celtics @ Golden State Warriors, April 1st

On the surface, this doesn't sound like a very intriguing game, but if you look at Boston's roster, you will see a familiar face.

David Lee was traded from the Warriors to the Celtics this off-season.

Lee was a fan favorite for five seasons. For the first few seasons, Lee was the best player on the team. Unfortunately, injuries cost Lee his starting role on the team last season.

It would have been nice if the team could have kept Lee, but he was not worth the amount of money on his contract.

The Oracle crowd will give him a loud ovation when he steps back onto the court.
