5. World Cup Quarterfinals - France vs. Germany - 9AM PT - ESPN2

2 of the favorites to win the greatest tournament in all of sports face off in a much-anticipated quarterfinals matchup. France and Germany have both yet to lose a match in the World Cup, respectively winning their groups and their knockout round games. Look for top scorers Karim Benzema for France and Thomas Muller of Germany to be difference makers.

4. World Cup Quarterfinals - Brazil vs. Columbia - 1PM PT - ESPN

With host Brazil barely sneaking pass Chile in the knockout round, look for the crowd to be heavily one-sided in this matchup against Columbia. Top goal scorer of the tournament so far, James Rodriguez of Columbia, will be favored to put another one in the back of the net.

3. New York Yankees @ Minnesota Twins - 12PM PT - ESPN2

There may not be too many more occasions to watch The Captain take the field this year. With Derek Jeter's farewell tour hitting up Target Field in Minnesota, not only can you get a preview of the stadium for this year's Home Run Derby and All-Star Game, but you can also see one of the greatest shortstops of all-time before he hangs up his cleats for the last time.

2. NASCAR Nationwide Series - Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona - 4:30PM PT - ESPN2

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than with fireworks on the track at Daytona International Speedway. The Nationwide Series is home to the up and comers of the NASCAR world with several of the big boys from the Sprint Cup Series taking part in this race under the lights at Daytona.
