Grant's rant was an attack on the newest college football rankings, Texas Christian University ahead of Baylor in the rankings despite the fact that they have the same record and the Horned Frogs lost to Baylor. Grant explained that there should not be a Big 10 co-champion if Baylor beats Kansas State this weekend, because of the fact that Baylor won in the head-to-head matchup against TCU, who will own the same record. Grant then announced that Demarcus Cousins, who has missed the Kings' past two games due to illness, took the floor for warmups two hours prior to tip-off against the Toronto Raptors. It goes without saying that Cousins' presence in the lineup is critical to Sacramento's success, the Kings' two-straight losses highlighted by poor play in the paint.
