El Dorado Hills man accused of stealing sports cards from Target faces grand theft charges

EL DORADO HILLS – Detectives say they have arrested an El Dorado Hills man suspected in multiple thefts of sports cards from a local Target store.

A series of recent thefts from the Target store in El Dorado Hills caught the eye of detectives, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office says. Anthony Bondura, a 67-year-old El Dorado Hills resident, was identified as a possible suspect.

On Oct. 27, deputies served Bondura a search warrant. Detectives allege Bondura stole about $2,000 worth of sports trading cards, while evidence of other alleged criminal activity was also found during the search.

No details about the other alleged criminal activity has been released.

Bondura has been arrested and is facing grand theft charges. He's been booked into El Dorado County Jail.
