Suspect In Carmichael Double Murder Previously Arrested For Having Pipe Bombs in Lodi
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento County detectives say they may have solved a Carmichael double-murder case of a couple shot and killed inside a home on Kenneth Avenue.
On Thursday, investigators say they arrested 23-year-old Olga Myshnova for the murder, but they aren't saying what role she may have played.
Neighbors say police frequently visited the modest home on Kenneth Avenue before December's double homicide.
Sacramento County Sheriff's detectives say the they found a man and a woman both shot dead inside the home on Dec. 12.
This is the second time Myshnova has made headlines this year. In January, she was arrested at a Lodi shopping center, accused of theft and having two active pipe bombs in her car. The devices were detonated by the bomb squad and no one was hurt.
Myshnova pleaded no contest to possessing a destructive device and was given five years probation.
