Surveillance Video Shows Teen Suspects Behind Dozens Of Sacramento County Burglaries
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — Burglary suspects are kicking in doors, and Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies say surveillance video shows two teens who are possibly behind a dozen break-ins.
The break-ins have been happening for months in the middle of the night across north Sacramento County.
Tom Todd's 10-speed bike was ripped off right from his front step. The Vietnam veteran admits he forgot to lock it up.
"Someone had to be watching," he said."You can't even see it from the street, the way it was here."
The Arden Park homeowner wonders if the culprits are the same ones seen in surveillance video of two teens deputies believe were trying to kick down someone's door.
At least a dozen break-ins have happened since June, in Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Fair Oaks and Orangevale.
Across the street, Angela Brace says she chased people off of her propert just days ago.
"I had people at 1:30 parking on the street, running up the driveway and running to the neighbor's house, so I hit the car alarm, and as I hit the car alarm they were up here, and they started running," she said.
She also wonders if it was the same suspects caught on tape pulling up in a dark SUV before trying repeatedly to force their way into a home last weekend.
